Echuca/Moama is the place to be this Easter long weekend. As usual there is plenty on offer from the twin towns. Good Friday begins with the annual Easter egg hunt at the 208 Primary School oval, lots of fun for everyone!
Easter football kicks off Good Friday with the local derby between Moama & Echuca United at the Moama recreation reserve. Echuca will host Tatura at home on Saturday at Vic Park. Saturday Echuca’s farmers market is on in Hare Street, and the Koori arts & craft market is also on in the Hopwood gardens. Saturday night the Heartland raceway will be an adrenaline rush for the petrol heads.
Sunday brings the Moama market at the sound shell & back to Echuca for the twilight harness racing. If you would prefer to enjoy a slower pace jump on board one of our historical paddle steamers for a leisurely cruise down the mighty Murray River. If you have energetic children (or adults) try visiting The Gravity Shack for trampoline fun for the entire family (and a good coffee too)
Echuca/Moama also boasts some of the best hotels, restaurants and cafes so don’t be shy about feasting your way through the long weekend…
Enjoy the Easter break with family & friends whether rushing around or taking in the serenity it’s a beautiful time of the year just before the chill sets in.
